Who we are and how to contact us
NewArtVote is a community for sharing creative work and giving feedback. For privacy questions, access requests, corrections, or account deletion, contact hello@newartvote.app.
Information we process
We process your account email, authentication identifiers, display name, username, profile image, bio, settings, uploaded images/video/audio, posts, comments, follows, votes, reports, and block choices. If you buy Studio, our billing providers process purchases, subscription status, and transaction records. We use essential local storage to keep you signed in and remember settings. Service providers may process device identifiers, technical diagnostics, and network information needed to deliver and secure their services.
How information is used and shared
We use this information to operate accounts, display creative work and feedback, provide purchases, and moderate abuse. Posts, profiles, comments, and voting activity may be visible to other users. Block lists are private to the account owner. We do not sell your personal information. Firebase/Google supplies authentication, database, and media hosting; Google and Apple support their respective sign-in and mobile payments; RevenueCat manages Studio entitlements and web checkout. Payment providers keep their own transaction records.
AI-assisted features
Profile checks and media category suggestions use Google Gemini. These features may send profile names, usernames, email addresses, media metadata, or an image preview to Google for processing. Do not include sensitive personal information in content you submit for these features.
Retention and account deletion
Your account and contributions are kept while you use the service. You can request deletion in Settings or at https://newartvote.app/delete-account.html, without reinstalling the app. Submit and confirm your request directly while signed in; no support email is required. You can also email hello@newartvote.app with your account email if you cannot sign in. Send from that address when possible, or ask us for help verifying ownership if you use Apple's Hide My Email or cannot access the address. We remove the account, profile, posts and uploaded media, comments, follows, votes, and block records associated with it. We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days and will explain any necessary delay. Billing providers may retain transaction records for their legal obligations; limited security or abuse records may be retained when necessary. Backups may expire later than the active records. Account deletion does not automatically cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription: manage those subscriptions in the relevant store.
Age and your choices
NewArtVote is intended for people aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly allow accounts for children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, contact hello@newartvote.app so we can investigate and remove it. You can edit your profile and preferences, report content, block users, or request account deletion. This policy may change as the service changes; material changes will be reflected here.
Optional website analytics
If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to measure website visits, sessions, approximate location, device/browser information, referral sources, and activity such as sign-ups, uploads and votes. Google receives analytics identifiers and usage data. We do not send account emails, names or uploaded content in these events, and disable advertising personalization and Google signals. Analytics stays off until you accept; reject it or change your choice using Analytics cookie preferences in the website footer or Settings. This website tracking does not run in our native iOS or Android apps.
Your privacy rights and complaints
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a portable copy of your personal information, and object to certain processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it. Contact hello@newartvote.app; we may need to verify your identity. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority, including the Information Commissioner’s Office in the UK (ico.org.uk).
