NewArtVote

Cookies and browser storage

Storage used on the web

NewArtVote uses browser storage, including local storage and IndexedDB through Firebase Authentication, to keep you signed in. The site stores your analytics choice in a local-storage entry called webAnalyticsConsent. Browser storage is covered by this notice even when it is not a cookie.

Purpose and duration

Authentication storage supports your requested account session and can persist across visits until you sign out or clear site data. Your analytics preference persists until you change it or clear site data. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics uses cookies (normally _ga and _ga_*) to measure visits, sessions, referral sources and activity. These cookies can persist for up to two years. Analytics is disabled until you accept; advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled. Counts of votes and other activity shown inside the service are part of its community features.

Sign-in and checkout providers

If you choose Google or Apple sign-in, or open Studio checkout, those providers may use their own cookies and storage to authenticate you, process payments, and prevent fraud. Review the privacy and cookie information shown by the provider when you use those services.

Your controls

Use Analytics cookie preferences in Settings to accept or reject analytics at any time. You can also sign out and use your browser settings to inspect, block, or delete cookies and site data for NewArtVote. Clearing or blocking authentication storage may sign you out or prevent sign-in from working. Clearing browser storage does not delete your account or creative work; use our account-deletion page for that.

Questions and changes
